I have partnered with an online photo finishing company to provide professional and reliable photo finishing services for my clients. (You will notice that as you add photos to your cart and proceed with your purchase, you will leave my web site and enter smugmug.com's web site.) This site allows you to share your gallery with your family and friends so they can view your photos and purchase them directly from the site.

Below you will find a step-by-step guide to ordering your photographs. A wide variety of photo printing options exist, some of which may be unfamiliar. I have provided additional information about these options below to aid in your purchasing decisions.

STEP 1: SELECTING PHOTOGRAPHS TO PURCHASE

While viewing your photos, you can purchase one or multiple photos at a time by clicking either buy ‘this photo’ or ‘multiple photos’. ‘Multiple photos’ will allow you to quickly choose which photos from your gallery you want to add your cart – I recommend this if you plan to purchase at least two photos. If you want to review what you have in your cart, or when you are ready to check out, click on 'view cart'.

STEP 2: EDITING YOUR SHOPPING CART

Once you have added photos to your cart, you can designate quantity and photo size. All prints are offered in a beautiful luster finish, which has a satin-like quality and provides the color saturation of glossy as well as the fingerprint and glare resistance of matte.

Please note:

The 'product' option shown is 'Standard Prints'. To choose a specialty print or photo gift, click on 'Standard Prints' and choose the appropriate option.

To quickly apply the same size and quantity to all photos, use the 'quick copy' option at the top of the page. Photograph numbers appear to the left of the photo thumbnail.

To purchase the same photo in multiple sizes, use the 'duplicate' button.

Please note that as you enlarge a photo, the dimensions do not remain constant (e.g., an 8x10 is twice as long as a 4x6 but less than twice as wide), and as such, important elements of your photograph may be cropped. To avoid necessary detail from being cropped, the 8x12 size is offered under 'Specialty Prints'. If you prefer 8x10, you can determine how the photo will be cropped in step 2. For larger prints, additional special sizes (e.g., 5x5), bulk pricing, and other requests, contact Jody.

If your photo requires cropping, you will see a blue square outlining the cropped photograph that will be printed. If you would like to change the way your photo is cropped, use the 'adjust' button next to the 'crop' pull-down menu. Do not choose 'no-crop' in the pull-down menu.

STEP 3: BILLING & SHIPPING INFORMATION

In addition to providing billing and shipping addresses, as well as a credit card for payment, you will need to provide an email and password for an account with smugmug.com. This email address and password are used solely to send order confirmations and to allow you check the status of your order.

STEP 4: SELECT SHIPPING OPTION

Please allow for printing time in addition to shipping. Prints are usually ready the next business day. Gifts often take a few extra days. Shipping options include economy, express, second day, and overnight.

STEP 4: REVIEW AND PLACE ORDER

Shipping and tax (CA only) will be added to the total amount when you check out.
